Questions
Ordering, pickup and everything else
Orders for this bake close Wednesday, September 2 at 3 PM. If something is not covered here, text or call 250-641-2110.
How do I place an order?
Build your order on this site, add your name and phone number, and send it. That submission is a request: Holy Crumb replies to confirm availability, the final total and your handoff time.
The original Google order form still works too, and you can always text or call.
When do orders close?
The current cutoff is Wednesday, September 2 at 3 PM. As a rule it lands wednesday afternoon; recent facebook posts specify 3 pm.
Sourdough loaves take about 2 days from mixing to cooling, so the list has to close before the bake starts. If you have missed the cutoff, text 250-641-2110 and ask — sometimes there is room.
Where do I pick up?
Residential pickup in Terrace near Canadian Tire. The exact address is provided after an order is received.
Pickup windows change week to week and the current ones are listed on the home page and in the order form.
Do you deliver?
Saturday morning delivery is offered as an option when you order, and you supply your address with the request.
Holy Crumb has not published a delivery fee, minimum order or delivery radius, so those are confirmed with you after you submit your request rather than calculated on this site.
How do I pay?
Cash or Email Transfer — there is no online payment on this site and no card is taken when you order.
E-transfers go to holycrumbdough@gmail.com. Pay by cash or email transfer after Holy Crumb confirms the order.
How do the two-for prices work?
Any two standard loaves — traditional or whole wheat, round or sandwich shape — are $15 together instead of $8 each. Any two inclusion loaves (cheddar, jalapeño cheddar, garlic parmesan, cinnamon raisin) are $22 instead of $12 each, and two frozen pizza dough balls are $10 instead of $6 each.
You can mix flavours and shapes within each of those groups. The order builder applies the bundle price automatically and shows what you saved.
Why is the total called an estimate?
Because availability is confirmed by a person, not by an inventory system. Everything is baked in small batches, so the total you see is what your selection comes to at listed prices.
Holy Crumb confirms the final amount — including any delivery charge — when replying to your request.
Can you handle allergies or dietary requests?
Holy Crumb has not published an allergen or cross-contact policy, so this site will not make one up. Everything is baked in a home kitchen that works with wheat flour, dairy, eggs, nuts and seeds.
Please ask before ordering. Special requests are not guaranteed until Holy Crumb confirms them. Add the details to the notes field when you order, or text 250-641-2110 first.
How should I keep it?
Real sourdough keeps best cut-side down on a board or in a paper or cloth bag at room temperature. Plastic softens the crust you paid for.
For longer than a couple of days, slice the loaf first and freeze it — you can toast straight from frozen. Cookie dough and pizza dough are supplied frozen and can go straight into the freezer.
Can I change or cancel an order?
There is no published change or cancellation policy, so get in touch as early as you can: text or call 250-641-2110, or reply to the message confirming your order.
Because loaves start two days ahead, late changes may not be possible once the bake is underway.
How do I reach a human?
Text or call 250-641-2110, email holycrumbdough@gmail.com, or send a message through Facebook or Instagram.
