From the kitchen
Actual bakes, actual kitchen
Photographs from Holy Crumb’s own posts — the loaves, buns and bagels as they came out of the oven.

The starter jar is the engine of every bake, not something on the menu.
The slow part
Time is the only ingredient you can taste
“Golden crust. Crackly outside. Soft, chewy crumb inside.”
True artisan sourdough, naturally and slowly fermented for classic taste and a rustic finish.
- 2-day loaves
- Mixed, folded, proofed and cold-fermented before baking. That is why the list closes mid-week.
- Naturally leavened
- A live starter does the lifting. No commercial yeast shortcut, no rushed rise.
- Small batches
- Everything is baked to order in a home kitchen, which is also why quantities are confirmed rather than promised.
Stay in the loop

Before you order
The questions people actually ask
How do I place an order?
Build your order on this site, add your name and phone number, and send it. That submission is a request: Holy Crumb replies to confirm availability, the final total and your handoff time.
The original Google order form still works too, and you can always text or call.
When do orders close?
The current cutoff is Wednesday, September 2 at 3 PM. As a rule it lands wednesday afternoon; recent facebook posts specify 3 pm.
Sourdough loaves take about 2 days from mixing to cooling, so the list has to close before the bake starts. If you have missed the cutoff, text 250-641-2110 and ask — sometimes there is room.
Where do I pick up?
Residential pickup in Terrace near Canadian Tire. The exact address is provided after an order is received.
Pickup windows change week to week and the current ones are listed on the home page and in the order form.
Do you deliver?
Saturday morning delivery is offered as an option when you order, and you supply your address with the request.
Holy Crumb has not published a delivery fee, minimum order or delivery radius, so those are confirmed with you after you submit your request rather than calculated on this site.
How do I pay?
Cash or Email Transfer — there is no online payment on this site and no card is taken when you order.
E-transfers go to holycrumbdough@gmail.com. Pay by cash or email transfer after Holy Crumb confirms the order.
Why is the total called an estimate?
Because availability is confirmed by a person, not by an inventory system. Everything is baked in small batches, so the total you see is what your selection comes to at listed prices.
Holy Crumb confirms the final amount — including any delivery charge — when replying to your request.
